Founded in 1933, Hydril Pressure Control has made energy, safety and protecting the environment its business ever since. We have built our reputation on a commitment to increase the world's energy potential through technologies that protect natural resources and oilfield personnel.

The cornerstone of that commitment is innovation that produces the best-performing, high-technology products in our chosen markets. That tradition began in the 1930s when we developed the first hydraulically operated blowout preventer, the annular blowout preventer.

More recent technology breakthroughs continue to redefine reliability for equipment used in high-pressure and other critical applications. The resulting products include the Quik-Loq™ ram blowout preventer (2002); our multiplex control systems for blowout preventer stacks (numerous enhancements since 2000); and the Seal-All™ Diverter Insert (2006).

As Hydril Pressure Control technology has advanced, so has our ability to serve a global industry. Our customers today receive quality service from manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Mexico and Scotland, plus distributors and authorized repair facilities on six continents.
